Ten Days of Zikr, Dances of Universal Peace, and Meditation

Join us for ten days of Silent Meditation alternating with Zikr and Dances of Universal Peace, exploring this way to integrate active practice with meditation.

This potent practice combines the power and resonance of the Zikr Circle /Dance Circle with the profound calm and abiding insight of the meditative state. It is our goal that this integrative approach will move us toward a grounded balance of Serenity, Insight and Awareness.

The teachings and transmission of Hazrat Inayat Khan and Murshid Samuel Lewis will be woven into the context of the retreat.

Our retreat site, owned and operated by the Institute of Noetic Sciences, is a beautiful property on the Marin-Sonoma border, conveniently located right off Hwy 101, sheltered by rolling hills. rocks crack apart
filled with passions
longing to have

over-joyed with desire

fire changes to water
wisdom becomes insanity

turn out to be the enemy

devouring rocks and men
causing insanity

there is no one

your love demands
nothing less than
my wounded heart

the wine jar is boiling over
someone is drinking the wine
and making the harp play itself
the sonnets to your admiration

this love journey
