(Sufi Ruhaniat Int'l) SRI Volunteer Opportunities, 2012

Dear Ruhaniat Family and Friends,

In this season of giving, there are so many ways to give. We invite you to consider a very special way – a gift of your time, skills, and heart. If you have received blessing and benefit from your spiritual community, here's an important way you can say "thank you" – the Ruhaniat needs your help!

At our recent Board of Trustees meeting, we deepened our commitment to these committees:

1. Youth - SRI expansion "in time".
2. International Expansion - SRI expansion "in space".
3. Communication - Create a tapestry of communication with threads of information technology, through Murshid S.A.M.'s Living Stream archives, Ruhaniat Publications, optimizing the SRI Website, and other electronic learning and connections.
4. Generosity - Develop an overarching fund-raising program and an ongoing volunteer recruitment program.
5. Administration - SRI staff and offices; Khankah S.A.M.
6. Transmission - Serving the unfolding of the Message.

As we define our tasks in the various committees we will reach out to you, our family, for help with specific needs. For now, we need immediate help with the following:

COMMUNICATION

♥ Video Editors: We have a Ruhaniat YouTube channel and want to populate it with new videos once a week. We have many, many teaching videos that need simple editing and uploading to YouTube, so we need several volunteers who have these simple skills and the tools and time to do it.
♥ Physicians of the Heart Publicist: We need 'professional' or skilled help in getting book reviews, and manifesting ways to both publicize and get the book out to the world.

GENEROSITY

♥ Thank-You Letter Writers: We need volunteers to hand-write simple, heartfelt thank-you letters to Ruhaniat volunteers and donors. The total number of letters requested could be as many as 12 per month. Money for stationary and stamps will be provided, if so desired.
