So many of us long for clear guidance for our lives, especially in turbulent times such as we live in now. Dreams provide a neverending stream of just what we need. When the sun goes down, we can see the stars. And when the conscious mind goes to sleep, we can receive the subtler guidance and blessings from other aspects of our beings and from other realms of wisdom. And so also with the Oracles. If we allow their images and symbols to speak to us directly and set aside the critical mind for awhile, wonderful and often surprising wisdom and insight come to us.
  • The Light Of Awareness with Murshida Leilah Be in Nevada City Apr 21-22. Flyer and info here. photo of Leilah
Spiritual Practice that engages the heart is a profoundly effective method for awakening to our True Nature. Human Beings thrive from meaningful connection with one another, as well as diving deeply into the silence within. We will engage ourselves in meditation, heart-centered reflections, zikr and dance to increase the Light of Awareness and enter the Stream of Pure Consciousness.

Sebastopol Sufi Healing Circle
2nd Tuesday in February (2/14/12) at 6:30 pm

In Sufi practices, and particularly Sufi healing practices, our intention is to touch and manifest divine qualities which always live within us. Murshid Samuel Lewis often quoted Sufi Al-Ghazzali, saying "Sufism is based on experience and not on premises." So in our healing circles we use breath, sound, contemplation and prayer to open and experience hidden treasures such as purification, compassion and healing power which are our True Nature; and we perform the Absent Healing ritual of Hazrat Inayat Khan to send healing light to others
We meet at 7085 Fellers Lane, between 116 and Litchfield Ave. All are welcome, there is no charge. Bring the name of anyone who has asked for healing. For more information: Shaffee, 707-484-0573 or shaffee@sufipaths.net.

"Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself.
And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams,
because every second of the search is a second's encounter
    with God and with eternity."
